Privacy Policy

Golden Beacon Intelligence (“GBI”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is operated by Golden Beacon Consulting, based in Fort Worth, Texas. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it — in plain English.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy covers two groups of people:

  • Business customers — companies and individuals who sign up for a GBI account to use our AI tools.
  • End users — the customers of those businesses who interact with GBI-powered chatbots, voice agents, or text messages.

If you are an end user (a customer of a business using GBI), the business you contacted is the primary controller of your data. We process it on their behalf.

2. What we collect

When you create a GBI account:

  • Name and email address
  • Business name, industry, website, and phone number
  • Billing information (processed by Stripe — we never see your card number)

When your AI platform is live:

  • Call recordings and transcripts from AI-handled phone calls
  • Chat conversation logs from your AI chatbot
  • SMS threads from missed-call text-back conversations
  • Contact information of people who reach out to your business (name, phone number)
  • Lead capture data submitted through your landing pages or chatbot

Automatically collected:

  • Usage data — which features you use, when, and how often
  • Log data — IP addresses, browser type, pages visited within our application
  • Error and performance data used to keep the platform stable

3. How we use your data

  • To provide, operate, and improve the GBI platform
  • To configure and run your AI chatbot, voice agent, and text-back system
  • To send you service-related emails (account updates, billing receipts, security alerts)
  • To respond to your support requests
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with data brokers.

4. How we share your data

We share data only with the vendors required to run the platform. All vendors are bound by data processing agreements and hold their own security certifications. Our core sub-processors are:

  • Vercel — application hosting
  • Supabase — database and storage
  • Clerk — authentication and identity
  • Anthropic — AI language model processing
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Enterprise telecom infrastructure provider — voice and SMS delivery

We do not share your data with any other third parties except when required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of users.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account:

  • Your business data and customer records are deleted within 30 days
  • Call recordings and transcripts are deleted within 30 days
  • Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by US tax law

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Correction — update or fix incorrect information
  • Deletion — request that we delete your account and data
  • Export — download your leads, call logs, and customer records from your dashboard at any time
  • Opt out — stop receiving non-essential communications by emailing us

7. Cookies

GBI uses essential cookies required for the platform to function (session management, authentication). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

You can disable cookies in your browser, but doing so will prevent you from logging in to your dashboard.

8. Children's privacy

GBI is a business tool intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years old. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. For a full description of our security practices, see our Security page.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email and update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of GBI after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
